And Kaeden Is Having A Little..................

BROTHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had my 18 week appt Friday April 15th and that was also my big ultrasound. Kaeden and my mom went with me and we got to see Bean in there kicking and wiggling around. That little man was in every position he could possibly wiggle into during the u/s LOL I enjoyed seeing him so much as did Kaeden and my Mom, although Kaeden began to get bored after not too long. On the drive down to the u/s appt Kaeden informed me that he wanted a little Sister.. He did not want a little boy he wanted it to be a girl. Luckily when we informed him that it was indeed a boy he seemed pretty ok with that. Now we've got to get him used to saying BROTHER as he usually just says Sisters in reference to Tate and Trin. All in all the appt went well and everything seemed to look great, I go back in 4 weeks on May 13th.. Yup Friday the 13th LOL But that's ok, I'm thinking with this pg 13 might just be a lucky number!. At the end of the blog I'll share a few photos of Bean :)

After the appt Kaeden and I were taken to lunch and treated by Grandma. What a great Grandma she is! Kaeden just adores her, and I worry about some jealousy issues come Sept and Dec when 2 new grandchildren move on in and upset his happy little life being the only grandchild LOL Yes I did say Dec also, as I found out right before my appt that my brother Jared and his girlfriend Tammy are expecting!!!!! WOOHOO~!!! I am so happy for them. My brother is the greatest guy in the world and will absolutely make the best dad. Heck he's such a great guy that we used his middle name Scott for Kaeden's middle name too in honor of him. Originally Tammy's EDD was Dec 13th but I talked to Jared last night and after an appt they've changed it to Dec 4th. I'm not believing anything until their appt next week on the 27th when they are HOPING to get an u/s to see how things are going in there. I'm saying a little prayer for them as Tammy has experienced 4 m/c's and this is always a scary time in pregnancy. Heck I'm almost 1/2 done cooking bean and I still worry every day that something horrid has happened to him.... I guess it's just being a concerned parent, and unfortunately once that lil one is born and you're holding him/her in your arms the worry does NOT go away!! Heck I think it gets worse!!! LOL To be a parent is to have neverending worry... *sigh* So I'll try to keep this blog updated with Tammy updates also ;)

I got a bit sidetracked earlier LOL After lunch with Gma we all came back to Ephrata and Gma babysat Kaeden and Sydney while Lindsay, Jared, Tammy, Steven and I went out for the night. it was So great. I haven't gone out and STAYED out that late in who knows how long. We were at the bar til 12:30 or so and then we drove to Moses Lake to get Denny's at all hours of the morning with a drunko Lindsay and Steven LOL It was a blast but I was DEFINITEY ready to fall into bed when we got back into town around 2:30-3AM. Lindsay was concerned that Tammy and I would be bored since we were the preggo's and couldn't drink but she was wrong LOL It's pretty entertaining to be the sober one enjoying the drunken show !!!!

Sat morning my mom ended up leaving around 1ish and Steven and Jared were gone golfing. So Tammy and I had the house to ourselves.. Oh yea and Kaeden LOL We just sat around chatting til our tummy's couldn't handle the wait anymore and made some sandwiches to hold us over til the guys got home from golfing and we ordered pizza. Sun morning we had waffles for breakfast and then Jared and Tammy left around 1-2ish. Steven and I were pretty much lazy the rest of the weekend...

This past week our neighbors inherited the cutest puppy ever! We've all named him Chico. They needed some help in order to keep him so Steven and I bought him a bag of puppy chow and a food dish... Kinda nice, all the joys of a puppy with very minial poo in our yard LOL He's come over to play a few times and made a poopy mess that we cleaned up but I just DO NOT want to do that on a day to day basis! Not to mention as much as Kaeden loves playing with the puppy, he gets very upset and frustrated cause Chico tends to use him for a chew toy LOL So I'm very happy that WE are not the proud new owners of Chico, but rather his new "family" with the title of Aunt and Uncles ;)

Today Kaeden and I got our hair cut... WOW It is difficult to try to force a 2yr old who does NOT WANT his hair cut to get it done.. I tried every bribe and punishment in the book I could think of LOL He finally gave in cause he didn't want to have to go home and get a nap.. Unfortunately after he was done with his haircut I had to make good on all my promises to him... Go pick out a movie, go to Mcdonalds, go see daddy...... LOL He did scream through most of the cutting process and now looks a bit nerdy to me as it's MUCH shorter then I wanted it, but he didn't climb out of the chair which he'd tried to do the first time we tried for the haircut this morning so I still had to reward him as promised. I can't wait for it to grow out about a weeks worth or so.. Then I think it'll look cute ;) It still looks cute, I just hate it when his bangs get cut so stinking short, makes his forhead look WAY too big.

Well enough updating for now, We've got the girls for the weekend and between 3 kids running through the house, and Steven wanting me to be involved and help him out a little I'm having a really hard time concentrating on this blog entry anyway... I'll try to post before another 3-4 weeks pass LOL Would sure make for some shorter easier entries.. Heck who am I kidding? I'd just talk more in detail about a few days instead of a few weeks LOL
