Happy New Year! Bring on 2013

Well it looks like the Mayan Calendar was wrong. We are all still here and survived 12-21-12 :)  Our Christmas went great. We had the girls here and so much family. It was awesome.  Overwhelming and crazy but awesome :)  Some shit went down in our personal lives that is rocking our worlds. I am not going to type it out, I am sure I will never forget these moments and if I do I'll probably be better off ;)  Steven has been given a crazy offer for buying Mobile One and it's causing so much stress.  He's said no time and time again but they keep giving him offers. They are now saying they have other interest. I am terrified we're going to end up with an unemployed Papa soon and that's no fun to think about.  Time to make some real money with photography eh? :p  I have taken the rest of Dec and  Jan off with Photography.  It's cold and miserable and I've got a full plate in life.  I am missing the shoots and can't wait for spring and gorgeous photos again!  Hopefully 2013 I will continue to grow my business as I did in 2012.  I finally passed my RTRP Tax test so it's a relief to have that off my brain!  Now to start tax season work again in a week or so.  Crazy how time flies. 

We're gearing up for a New Years get together tonight and hope all goes smoothly.  Don't need a repeat of last year ;)  Maybe I'll be the one to pee my pants tonight instead?  Paybacks? lol 

Onto some photos and wrapping up my blog for 2012.  I can't wait to print this book and see my life on paper.

Catching up! Holidays are coming and going

This year we adopted an Elf On The Shelf. The kids named him Scout. Scout has been entertaining us this holiday season. This particular evening he decorated our tree in the kids UNDERWEAR!

He was kind enough to bring Candy Canes for the kids though ;)

Last night Scout built a snowman :)  I think he was feeling festive due to all the snow we got yesterday and seeing the boys build a snowman out front with their Dad ;)

Last weekend the unthinkable happened.  My daughter found scissors :(  This is the best "fix it" attempt we could do for now.... Ugh

She also managed to get herself bit on the cheek by Sally.... So between the dog bites and the crazy hair our daughter has had a rough week!

It's official.  We adopted Joe Dirt.  Don't tell her that though, I asked if we could call her Kinleigh Dirte' or Princes Dirte' and she told me NO. I asked then what could I call her? Her answer??? "Princess Kinleigh" :p lol  I just hope this hair starts growing at warp speed. The mullet is killing me!
