A special super hero grew his wings last night.....

Collin has moved on.  My heart hurts so badly.  I've been in tears most of the day off and on.  I drove by Grant and wanted to run in and grab my boys, hug them and not let go.  How does a Mother let go of their baby?  I am so thankful that he is no longer in pain, but I cannot understand why he had to suffer so much for so long? What is it that he was put here to teach us that was worth the pain and crap he had to endure?  It's an awful big burden for such a small guy.  He's a reminder to me that things can change in an instant and never take for granted the small things. I will continue to wear my bracelet with honor and hope that everytime I look down at my wrist I am reminded that there once was the bravest little guy who has taught me so much about life. He has inspired me to get my boys involved with a church because of the faith of him and his family.  He has inspired me to work on patience with my own children and unconditional love. He has made me want to be a better Mom and person all around.  15mo ago we were sure it was the end for Collin and he proved us wrong time and time again.  This time around he was tired and ready.  He got to have a meet and greet with Phineas and Ferb and told his Mom it was the "Best Day Ever"... Right after that he went downhill and within a short amount of time he was gone.  I am so thankful to everyone that worked so hard to get him that last special moment of his life here on Earth.  I don't know what else to say at this time.  I am numb, sad, tears, hurting heart, but I wanted to get it out that he has passed. We are blessed. So very blessed.  Please take a moment if you're reading this and just give thanks for what you DO have! It may seem like you don't have much or that you're at rock bottom, but if you really think about it life isn't so bad for so many of us. Collin struggled and hurt and stayed cheerful, brave and so loving of other people.  He had a heart that was bigger then anyone I know! Peace to the McDaniel family as they adjust to life with this hole in it.

Where did February go?

Wow the last month has flown by!  Christina got moved into her own home and is doing well. I am so happy for her that life is going on and I can't wait to see her happy for the first time in as long as I can remember!

Collin is still holding on and had a couple good days last week...Even woke up enough to go to the couch, play some DS and munch on ice chips!  How he manages to hold on amazes me and everyone who "knows" him.

Just a few photos to share and a couple updates and then I gotta get to bed since today was Spring Forward day and I lost an hour so it's already almost 11pm :p

My daughter and her morning attire. I DIED laughing when I realized what she was wearing and knew I had to photograph it for my blog!

I love when my boys get along and play nicely together. Nothing like a friendly game of Monopoly Jr.

Kinleigh is the proud new owner of her very own house, complete with picnic table and slide :D  I traded a photoshoot sitting fee for this setup for baby girl from Heather Stephens :)

Crazy but no that is not dandruff on my sweet Kai, it's snow! Weird weather!

Just a favorite of my two babies.

Messy hair, Dirty mismatched clothes, FUN TIMES with Daddy :)  She was being tickled and laughing her behind off.

The kids were loving having nice sunny weather after the hail and snow earlier in the day!  Kaeden has discovered football and wants to play this fall! I'm excited for him to get interested in a sport!

Kids favorite: Daddy throwing them on the trampoline!

Yes the boston seriously was sleeping like this in my window. No matter how often I windex these windows they are forever smudged because this is the dogs favorite sunbathing place.

My daughters favorite past time... Smelling and stacking Momma's scentsy samples.

Finally got the girls room cleaned up and cleaned out my photo props to give them their bedroom back!  Now my room has been taken over by props but they are organized and I'm pleased :)

And then we ended up getting more snow. Crazy weather I tell ya!

Gramma Vicki really wanted me to attempt this shot. It didn't turn out as I'd hoped but it was better then nothing.

Is she ever clean? LOL  My baby girl loves to be covered in food and loves to wear big brothers coats!

Steven must have been way too excited for Justin Biebers surprise birthday party or something?

Today is March 1st. Does anyone know what that means? It means Justin Bieber turns 18, so we surprised the kids with a surprise birthday party for Justin Bieber including; cupcakes, candles and singing!

My baby girl looking so precious and peaceful in the morning.

I have a slight obsession with Pretty's hair and love photographing those curls.

Wake up sleepyhead!

Kaeden and I had a deal. If he wanted to go see The Hunger Games with me at the theaters he had to read the book first.  So the month of Feb we read almost every day anywhere from 20-60min to complete the book. He tested on it at school for AR test and passed with a 90 :) I was very proud of him!  Tickets earned and he is so exited for our date in 2 weeks that he has created a Countdown for Hunger Games chart for his bedroom wall that includes a pencil taped up to cross off the days LOL Love that kid.

So I surprised him by pre-buying our tickets. No way I'm gonna let them be sold out after he earned it and made a chart!

Just a photo of pretty :)  She dressed herself LOL

This is why she's always dirty, cause she's always doing something to get dirty! Here she is in her favorite spot in the yard digging in a hole under the trampoline.

Baby hair and baby toes....definitely my obsession!  Note the mismatched socks she dressed herself in ;)

This little lady is forever getting into things.  This time around it was a bottle of basil and sesame seeds completely emptied.  She also had yogurt on her hands and got it allover the remote control :p

She marches to her own drum!

When Mommy told her to close the fridge door she did..........she just didn't bother to get out of the fridge LOL She just stood there waiting for me to "catch" her.  So of course seeing those toes inspired me to bust out the camera!

I finally got to meet Lana! We've been friends on the August boards for 10years now and she was in Florida when we first met.  She is now living in Minnesota.  Her husband and 6 of her 10 kids drove to Seattle to visit her Mother last week and on their way home they made a stop in Ephrata to meet up with me :)  Super cool!!!!!
