So this weekend Steven told me Kinleigh took 4 steps to Tatum. I refused to believe this since I did not witness it. Unfortunately today Kinleigh decided to show me Daddy was telling the truth and took 6 steps this afternoon. Please stop her from growing up so fast! She also FINALLY got a 3rd tooth in last night. Top left front tooth has broken through the skin, and the right front tooth and tooth next to it are going to break through anytime~! We have been hearing her say Yeah and nod her head yes for almost a month now. Last night we decided she has another word and that word is HI! We love to try to make her say HI. Not 100% sure she's saying it but it sure sounds like it to us. She says Dada and Mama but it's sporadic. She seems to be good at crying for Mama when she's mad at me :p We tried teaching her to wave yesterday and she started moving her hand a bit but no big waves yet. She thinks it's fun to say ahhhhhh while moving her hand in front of her mouth to make the babababababa sound.
Seems our friend Ross got married this weekend. I use the term friend loosely at this point in my life. Not sure what's happened to the friendship with Ross and James but things are rocky to say the least. I'm downright angry at both of them and Steven is trying to be "whatever" about it, but I'm pretty sure he's hurt and it's his manly way of handling things. Good luck to him is all I have to say.
I started babysitting Sam last Friday and the extra cash will be nice. However getting up at the crack of dawn is NOT nice :p lol My days are going well so far though and it's not as bad as i expected it to be. Being a full time stay at home Mom to a 2nd grader and preschooler is tough work! Add that to PTO treasurer, MOPS, Wed night church, starting wed night tax classes this week, Tues night Love and Logic Classes and starting this Tues Cub scouts for Kaeden on Tuesdays I'm one super busy Momma!!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel like I'm on the go more then a Mom who works full time!!! I am absolutely loving it though! The only big downfall is I have not been making it to the gym and taking care of "me" so well. HOpefully that will come with time as I settle into a routine. Also started up a BUNCO group here in Ephrata! I am super excited to kick off 2011 with 12 ladies and a monthly BUNCO gamenight with no kids :D I've been missing BUNCO since I moved away from Hermiston 9+ years ago so it is very exciting to me to get this going. Tentatively thinking of having a "dry run" bunco on the first weekend in November to meet up with everyone and get all the details sorted out so January can start without a hitch!
