Long Time No Post

Well I"ve been slacking in the blogging department. Lots of sickies been going around this household and it's been miserable!! I think we're all starting to do better now though.

This past weekend Steven and I decided at 10pm Fri night to go visit my parents LOL So we got there at about 12:45am Kaeden was pretty excited to be visiting Grandma. We had a nice visit with Lance Bobbi and Lexus. Wow she's still tiny as ever! She weighs the same as Sydney does 23lbs LOL 2 1/2 yrs compared to 11mo... Little tiny thing but she's SO cute. Sat night we went to the local bar that I never got to go visit when I lived there cause I wasn't 21 ;) Now I got to visit but had to be the designated driver since I"m the preggo LOL But it was a blast anyway, wonderful to catch up with my cousin and brother. Steven seemed to have a good time and it was really relaxing. Kaeden stayed with my mom and she says he was an angel (think she's lying?) Then Sunday before leaving Lance Bobbi Lexus, Jared Tami Aaron and Steven Kaeden and I all headed up to Tri Cities to do some shopping and eat at the Mongolian. I've never ate there and was quite surprised to like it. Kaeden thought it was pretty cool to watch them cook his food on that giant circle thing, and he also thought it was pretty cool to have yelling contests with Uncle Jared. I swear when God was handing out babies he accidentially gave me the one that was meant to go to my brother cause they both act EXACTLY the same LOL I was trying to explain to my TWENTY TWO year old brother that it is not ok to have yelling contests in public, ESPECIALLY eating places LOL But Kaeden loved every minute of it. Went shopping a bit more and got my moms birthday present already! YIPPEE I'm getting good at this buying in advance thing ;) LOL We ended up getting home at about 7 so it was a great trip for the weekend.

Monday had a normal day, Tuesday morning I got woke up at 6am with my son puking hot dogs up all over me. Fun fun fun.. He's lucky I didn't puke back at him! Poor little guy had the throw ups (or spitting as he calls it thx to mommy always spitting in the toilet due to being pg) til about 12-1ish then crashed at 2. I didn't have Taylor or Sydney as Mike stayed home with them instead of exposing them to the nasties at my house so I napped with Kaeden as he was leached onto me like an extra limb. he woke up at 6 and seemed much better. By the end of the night he was pretty much normal. Thank goodness it was only the 24hr flu bug... I just wish I knew where the hell he picked that bug up at!! I did everything in my power to keep him away from the nasties everyone had (the reason we were able to go to my parents for thew eekend was Tatum had the throw ups and I didn't want it at my house) But I guess he managed to pick it up anyway :( poor lil guy.

I ordered up my doppler on Monday and it arrived yesterday... I've heard the lil beans heartbeat YIPPEE!!!! I was kinda worried as I found it last night, the lil bugger squirmed away and I couldn't find it again til 1pm this afternoon! My symptoms have lightened up a lot. still gagging pretty easily, and wow tired as ever but the all day nausea has really let up on me thank goodness... The bbs are starting to feel much more normal also.. They still have some tenderness to them but nothing like they were 2 weeks ago. Therefore I am so happy that this doppler can find the bean so I know he/she is in there happy and healthy. I'm 9w2d today and starting to feel pretty excited about closing in on that elusive second trimester! I've got my next Dr appt on the 18th so I'm relieved to know that there's a heartbeat in there for the doc to find for me ;) Although I was kinda hoping he couldn't find it so I could get another u/s. I miss the lil bean and want to see it again!!!! Seeing and hearing your baby while you're pg is the best feeling in the whole world.

Well update is now over, pretty boring but thought I best get it done before a month or two passed with no entries!
