Sunday night I wake up puking. Feel like crap all day Monday. Start feeling better Monday night. Kai pukes everywhere... then he does it again... and all night. Then Kaeden throws up off and on all night Mon night. Tuesday I feel great! I'm home with all 3 kids who seem to be doing well. The boys are acting 100% normal after their puke-a-thon night. I thought Kinleigh was feeling icky Tues afternoon but no puke HOORAY~! Figured we were out of the woods. Steven had the poo's and a little icky tummy Mon night and Tues morning... Out of the woods right????? Noooooooooooooooooooooope! It's 1:30am and I am awake blogging because my little man Kai comes out to tell me his lip hurts. I tell him to go pee and go back to bed. He looks at me and proceeds to waterfall chunks allover my floor. We have hardwood throughout the house .. Lucky right? Nooooooooooooooooooooooope! He nailed the throw rug in the living room. He goes back to bed. I bust out the shampoo'er at 1am and start shampooing while trying to shoo dogs away who think it's midnight snack time. GROSS! Next thing I know the damn shampoo'er stops spraying water. Oh well. I think I got most of it before the water quit working. Looks like I'm home with sick kids AGAIN tomorrow. Please please please let this be the end of it!
Onto other things. Kinleigh is expanding her vocabulary! She FINALLY said UP tonight :D We've been trying to get her to say that for months now rather than AAAAUUUUUGGGGHHH to get picked up. She's also saying MOM... Hat. Bubba (comes out Buh Buh) and her favorite is Whooooaaaahhhh While rocking or falling... Toddlerhood is upon us!
Kaeden had awesome news when he came home from school Monday! He was voted for the Honesty Award :) He'll be in the paper and all. I am so proud of him! He's such a great kid and I love him to pieces! Nothing makes a Mom feel like she's doing something right then things like this :)
Kai was a great helper when I was sick on Monday with Kinleigh. Made himself breakfast (cheese and mayo sandwich) and fed Kinleigh. When did he grow up???? He was super proud of himself and I was proud of him too :) I love it when Kai has good days. Sometimes I worry he has ADD or ADHD. Others I just think he could be a lively spirited 5yr old boy. I suppose we'll see as he heads into full time school!
Daisy Rain Photography continues to move forward. I've been doing lots of Portfolio Building sessions and I think I see improvement already! I made the big leap and bought a Canon 5D off of Ebay. Ok so I bought 2 but that was an accident and I'll be selling one of them ;) I am supposed to receive it tomorrow and am super excited! My boss is going to be buying my rebel for her husband to get into photography. I had considered keeping it for back-up but could really use the money to offset the large chunk I just spent on the 5D. My 2nd 5D should arrive next Tuesday along with a 50mm 1.4 lens. I am dying to get my hands on that combo and shoot some pics!
Next week is Spring Break. Lord please let us all be well by then! No big plans. We do have plans the weekend of the 9-10 to head to Uncle Joel's house to celebrate Easter early with Steven's family. I am excited to go see everyone and to enjoy some traditions that Steven had growing up. Steven is excited too!
Feeling a touch depressed. Started a biggest loser challenge with Lindsay and Steven and I am losing miserably! Steven's at 4+% weightloss... Lindsay's at 5+% weightloss...I had .37% weightloss. SERIOUSLY?!?!?!?!? Argh. And now I sit here at 1:45am HUNGRY when I should be sleeping. I am wide awake now as well just waiting for the next round of pukes.
Suppose I'll go read up on some photography stuff and then try to get back to sleep............... Night!
Some pics taken at Connor's birthday party this weekend :)
