How the weeks fly by now!!!

Well my little man is now 7 1/2 weeks old. He'll be 8 weeks on Thurs and I cannot believe how quickly it's flying by once again. Kaeden is in love with his little brother and is the best big brother I know. He is always helping me with Kailer and loves playing with him. If I turn my head for a moment he's usually picked Kailer up to take him where he wants him to "play" LOL this morning it was to his bedroom while mommy went potty. When I took kailer to feed him he asked if he could bring him back to his room when he was done eating. I love that there does not seem to be any jealousy of the new baby, although he is acting out a bit more then usual. Not sure if that's because of new baby or because he's 3 and knows everything ;) Lately he tells me that it's too hard to clean his room up because his arms are not big enough. When I was putting his toys away (in a bag to go to the garage since he wouldn't clean them) he told me "Fine mom, i'll just play with baby toys". When I told him he was going to get a spanking he told me in the snottiest teenage voice i've ever heard out of a 3yr old "It's not going to make me cry". UGH I'm pulling my hair out with him right now. he's reverted back to throwing temper tantrums (this happened before Kailer was born) and i'm sick of them! I'm not sure how we're going to nip this in the butt but we're working on it. I've been trying real hard to get steven on the same discipline page as me. I know we let him get away with too much which is a big part of his attitude problem. Unfortunately for Kaeden we're going to buckle down on him and he's probably going to hate us for awhile *sigh* the joys of parenting!!

On a good note he is officially in his OWN bed! After 3yrs of co-sleeping Kaeden is sleeping in his own big boy bed. We kicked him out of our bed a few days after Kailer came home because he sleeps like a maniac!!! LOL everytime we turned around we had a foot in our face, belly, etc and because Kailer seems to be following his brothers horrible sleep patterns and is in our bed I just couldn't risk Kaeden laying on him. He started out on the floor on his elmo couch but last weekend I found a bed for FREE on the internet and he is now the proud owner of a snoozin coupe bed and he just loves it. It is in our bedroom which is fine with me, as long as he's in his own bed! !!

Kailer is growing so quickly, I'd say he "officially" started smiling this weekend when he is happy. He doesn't do it often yet but if you talk to him and coo with him enough he'll give some smiles. This morning he was laying on the floor while I went to the bathroom and was smiling away at me. Those little smiles are so cute and precious I just love them!! Unfortunately for my little guy he's also been diagnosed with Excema :( His face is so crusty dry and bumpy it makes me want to cry. I am in the process of rewashing everything we have for him in baby All detergent as the docs think he might be reacting to our detergents/fabric softeners. I've been slathering him in aquafor and Emu Oil and it seems to be helping some. I've also been using hydrocortizone cream and that seems to help him sleep at night instead of scream all night. I thought he was just hving a colicky night but now I'm thinking he had a miserable itching night!! Hopefully he'll be a lucky one and as he grows will not have these problems full time like Lindsay who only gets them with season changes. That's about all I can hope for at this point since there is no cure for it :( I hate seeing him uncomfortable~!~! On a good note at his dr appt he was up to 11lbs so mommy milk is working excellent~!! He's growing great and I feel proud to say that he's exclusively breastfed!!

I would type more but at this moment my 3yr old / 13yr old LOL Is throwing a tantrum and testing me knowing that i'm at the computer so I need to go take care of him. I'll try to post more regularly and keep update my boys newest life experiences! We're going trick or treating tonight and i just hope the weather holds up and doesn't make it too awfully miserable! Kaeden will be Dash Incredible and Kailer will be a little monster. Gotta Run!!!
