WOW how the past month has flown by!! I originally planned on updating often but it's not happening LOL It doesn't help that my computer has had serious issues lately and makes it difficult to post anywhere!
The weekend of June 24-25 Steven, Kaeden, Grandma and I went to Seattle for the weekend. We took Kaeden to Point Defiance Zoo and he just loved it. We then stayed in a motel and drove up to the Seattle Science Center on Sunday. We had a great weekend away from home just doing some fun stuff with family. Kaeden's favorite thing was the Polar Bear who was pounding his head on this drum like thing and he still is talking about it LOL
Fourth of July weekend was great. On Friday evening we had a small party at the house here and I made a cake to celebrate Tate's birthday as we had originally planned on going camping with Christina and Tim and would miss out on Tate's birthday on Sunday the 3rd. It was a nice get together and the kids had fun running around out back. Cake didn't turn out to badly either if I do say so myself ;) I was also very relieved to find out that after failing my 1hr gtt that I passed my 3hr gtt and was allowed to eat cake YIPPEEE I was so worried about having Gestational Diabetes, but I found out I was in the clear just in time!! Saturday the 2nd we went boating with Christina, Kaity, Tim and Tim's dad and sisters. It was a blast. Kaeden LOVES being on the water and in the water and around the water so he just was in heaven. I took Kaeden on his first jet ski ride and we ended up playing on it for 45min or so. He LOVED it and had absolutely no fear. He kept telling me to GO FASTER MOM even after I hit a couple waves that made his face smack onto the handlebars of the jet ski. My little tough guy that's for sure! We then bbq'd at Tim's parents house that evening before coming home. It was really relaxing. Sunday the 3rd we met up with Steven's family in Moses Lake at Chico's Pizza as Tony and Jeanne were driving through and wanted us to all get together. Both brothers were there, Steven's mom and his neice Sydney were there. Kaeden loves playing with his cousins and had a blast playing video games with daddy. We also went over that evening to Lindsay's house to set off fireworks with them as Lindsay didn't plan on doing fireworks on the 4th because she didn't want to get to bed to late. On the 4th we had Christina, Tim and Kaity over for a bbq and fireworks. Tim brought some great ones that went up in the air. Apparently you can buy those in Moses Lake! If I'd known that I would have driven down there for fireworks ;) After bbq'ing and letting off some small fireworks we headed out to Mike and Deb's to see them set off the Canon. WOW that thing has some boom behind it!!! They were all partying and getting quite intoxicated and shooting off some BEAUTIFUL fireworks that were bought in the Seattle area. After hanging out there for an hour or so we came back home to let off our fireworks. Kaeden was enjoyign himself but starting to get tired and grumpy and wanted to go in and go to bed. I think he was getting upset as the neighbor was letting off ground bloomers and throwing them up in the air, making them explode when they hit the street so I made him stop that and Kaeden seemed to do better. Had the cops show up as someone called them saying we were blocking the street, but didn't get in trouble and told us to go ahead and finish up our fireworks even though it was 1/2 hour past time we were "supposed" to be done letting them off. I had no idea there was a fireworks curfew on the 4th LOL Guess ya learn something new everyday huh!?! All in all it was a great weekend and I didn't want it to end!
The weekend of July 9th Steven, Kaeden, Tatum, Triniti and I all loaded up in the van and headed to White Salmon, WA to my Grandparents 50th wedding anniversary party. It was great to get together with all of the family and to have our whole family with us. We ended up with a couple of booboo's on the kids (especially Triniti) which we expected but all of us had tons of fun and a great time visiting. This was the girls first trip to my grandparents house so it was a totally new adventure for them. Triniti met up with their basement steps by taking a tumble down them and got a nice black eye poor thing. I suspected with all the kids being there that one of them would fall down... Sure enough I was right! I'm shocked Kaeden hasn't made that tumble yet! His day will come I'm sure. We also took all the kids down to the Jewett Creek to play in the water. Wow there was almost no water in the creek this time! I've never seen it so low before! The kids had a blast wading around in the shallow water, throwing rocks in and making splashes and just being kids. Uncle Jared found a few crawdads for us and we brought one home in some litter that was in the creek. Someone left a peanut container with a lid floating in the creek so we did our good deed, picked it up and put it to good use ;) Unfortunately ( or fortunately if you ask me!!) crawdad did not survive the drive home. The kids did surprisingly well on the long drive which makes me a little less nervous about doing it again sometime :) They're all growing up so much!
Those were our exciting weekends of the month so far :) Chris and Tim had to leave a bit early but we did get to celebrate Kaity's 1st birthday a little early with them. Tim is leaving today for Iraq and we are all very nervous and worried about him. Please say a prayer that he makes it home safe and sound in 6-8months..... I can't imagine being Christina at this time.. I'd be a basketcase!
This little guy is my mover and shaker inside me... I know Kaeden moved around a lot, but usually only if I pushed on him and pissed him off or if he got the hiccups. Baby "K" is MUCH more active. Unfortunately he HAS discovered my ribs, something Kaeden never had any interest in and is making me very uncomfortable especially at night. I just look at my belly and think to myself "how will I make it another 7 weeks?" I am 33 weeks tomorrow.... 7 weeks to my EDD 4 weeks to "full term" I used to want him to come out late to push his birthday further from Kaeden's but at this point I'm ready for them to share a birthday if it means he'll be here sooner LOL Don't get me wrong, I am loving being pg, but this time around have gotten much bigger, am less active and therefore am more miserable. Teach me to be lazy!! I am cherishing every movement, every kick, every roll as I know this will most likely be my last baby. Kaeden is getting so excited for his brother to be born too. The other day I was going to the bathroom (#2) and Kaeden comes in and says "mom are you pushing the baby out?" LOL I said no... He says "are you going poop?" yes dear... *blush* We watch lots of Discovery Health Channel ;) Then the other night I was asking Kaeden if he was ready for his baby brother to be born and to come out of mommy's belly? He said "yup, PUSH mom, PUSH the baby out now!" He's too funny. He also informed me that he is not cute, he is a big boy and BABIES are cute.... Why do they have to grow up so quickly?!?!?! I just know once this baby is born I am going to miss my one on one time with Kaeden and I am really going to miss him coming up to me, wrapping his arms around my huge belly and telling me "I love my baby and I love you mommy" or just coming up to kiss his baby or hug his baby etc. It's something that only I get to experience with "my boys" and as selfish as it sounds I am not quite ready to give it up yet, even though I am ready to have the baby soon.
Well there's my update for now. I will try to update a little quicker next time ;) My Baby Shower is Aug 6th and my next OB appt is Aug 5th so if I haven't updated before that I will try to do so soon after :)

MY oh my! You updated without me having to hound you this time. I loved reading your updates. Where are the zoo pictures? Did you get any of the polar bear? I didn't remember seeing any of them.
Give Kaeden and Baby K hugs for me.
Love, Mom/Gramma
